Expediting the digital ecosystem of Quest

Quest is the luxury shopping destination for the East. It houses the most iconic fashion brands and makes users privy to some of the most sought-after fine dining experiences. Events and offers are commonplace to the mall – making it the need of the hour to keep the consumers updated about the same.

While Quest had an existing website and even an app, it did not reflect the hustle-bustle and liveliness that the mall was synonymous with. Brandsum decided to take it upon themselves and mirror the buzz and vibe of the mall onto the website and the app and make it as dynamic.

Visual cues:

The first call of order was the aesthetic facelift of both the platforms. The team at Brandsum suggested a brighter and more uniform colour palette for the mall which reflected the young consumers mindset who frequented the mall and were most likely to use the website and app.

Only a cosmetic fix would not cut it, and therefore the team identified that to let people know about all that was happening at the mall – things had to reflect in real-time. An integrated CMS was created that helped drive updates to consumers simultaneously via the app and website, instead of it happening in silos.

Back to the whiteboard:

While the agency was ready to go live with the revamped look and feel, Quest decided to launch a new logo. Needless to say, that the digital assets had to incorporate the same – leading to the second redesign of the assets.

The team at Brandsum also knew that an app had to compete for phone space not just with director competitors, but with the likes of the Ubers and Zomatos of the world. New and exciting features were specifically built for the app that would emphasize its utility even more and make the user want to use it time and again.

Featured results

  • Walk N Win – a feature that maps the footsteps of the users while they are at the mall and rewards them with free vouchers upon completing thresholds.
  • Bluetooth integrated beacons notify users about on-going offers from the in-house brands and restaurants as soon as they enter the mall.
  • Instead of paying cash at the parking kiosks of the mall, users can pay their parking charges online, every time they visit Quest.
  • Consumers can rely on the customized in-built selfie filters to upload social-media worthy pictures while they enjoy shopping, eating and spending time at Quest.
  • In case of an emergency or a query, users can rely on the SOS feature and receive mall assistance instantly.

Brandsum launched the Quest app with all these features and more on both the App Store for iOS and the Play Store for Android. The app received more than 1000 downloads within a fortnight of being launched!
